Titel: New Motherboard for a Sandy Bridge chip
|
Hello,
My primary desktop is currently a Sandy Bridge Core i7 2600K based machine with a Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard. It's okay, but I've been experiencing weird issues that I attribute to motherboard bugs/defects. Mostly sleep/resume, but also weird crashes that happen maybe once a week. I'm planning on upgrading my CPU/motherboard/memory in Q4 of this year and I'd like to put my current machine on server duties (to replace a Core 2 Duo based machine currently filling that role). So, since I think the main issue with my current machine acting as a server is getting a better motherboard, I'd like to get some recommendations for motherboards/chipsets that are compatible with my Sandy Bridge CPU that is reliable, and can connect at least 6 SATA devices?
Please help
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
